The China Pavilion of Expo 2010 Shanghai takes “Chinese Wisdom in Urban Development” as its theme, embodying the cultural spirit and unique temperament of China represented by the philosophy: Crown of the East, Prosperous China, Granary for All, and Prosperous People.
Centering on the core clue of “Journey of Discovery”, the exhibition guides visitors through three major zones: Oriental Footprint, Journey of Exploration and Low-Carbon Action. Throughout the experience, visitors discover and perceive the profound Chinese wisdom behind urban development. After the conclusion of the World Expo, the building was renamed the China Art Museum, conveniently accessible via China Art Museum Station on Shanghai Metro Line 8.
